The chic new resort is sister property to the legendary clifftop Rockhouse Hotel. The beachfront property is situated directly on 220 feet of pristine white sand beach with sweeping western views of the Caribbean Sea’s tranquil, crystal-clear waters.

Skylark is a picture-perfect destination, ideally situated to bring loved ones together for a celebration. Whether planning an intimate sunset ceremony or an elaborate weekend affair filling the entire hotel with friends and

family, Skylark’s exceptional wedding and events team will create a memorable occa- sion tailored just for you. They provide an experienced personal wedding planner and will take care of every detail. An expansive open-air deck spills ointo the sand, making Skylark a picture-perfect destination. The hotel features a dedicated all- weather func- tion space that seats up to 70 guests and is available for weddings, rehearsal dinners and group events.

There are 28 fully-appointed guest rooms boasting private, furnished balconies and garden terraces, with ocean views from almost every room. All rooms include a king-size bed, a work (or play) desk, fully-stocked mini bar, Bluetooth speakers, USB outlets, beach and bath essentials, and more. In-room dining, as well as complimentary evening turndown service and property-wide Wi-Fi, are available.

For finger-licking-good food, Miss Lily’s at Skylark is the spot. Enjoy smoked and seasoned chicken, pork, and fish straight off the grill, served with all of the classic fixings of “yard” cuisine.

The menu also features other traditional Jamaican home cooking fare such as curried goat, oxtail and whole fish. The Miss Lily’s culinary team is led by Kingston-born “Chopped Champion” Chef Andre Fowles.

Local and seasonal ingredients are always on the menu at Skylark to include vegetables, fruits and herbs from an organic garden located at Rock- house. Anchoring the beachfront restaurant is a jerk smokehouse and BBQ grill used for pimento wood-smoked and slow-cooked proteins, cus- tom-designed by the culinary team and built with local craftsmen using recycled materials.

The Skylark Spa takes a simple, holistic approach to well-being, health and happiness with a natu- ral Jamaican style. Situated in an energetic temple overlooking the tropical gardens, the menu fea- tures a full range of massages, as well as foot and beauty therapies that use natural, local ingredients. Guests are welcomed with a com- plimentary cleansing foot ritual and treatments can be combined into packages for individuals and couples.

Skylark’s signature turquoise hue is ever-present throughout the two-acre slice of paradise. Subtle pops brighten beach chairs, striped rugs, floor tiles, lighting, and the guest rooms front doors. The colour palette ties back to rosy pastels of the soft skies overhead, bold reds inspired by the ackee fruit and several shades of sea blue, plus screen-print-style art that pay homage to the island’s natural beauty. It’s fun atmosphere spotlights, honours and heavily engages guests in Jamaica’s rich cultural history.
